Changed my render
Still impressive, Thomas!
Love your renderings.
I recon this tower is still around the same height as 3WTC, it’s clear that 4WTC height is too tall in those models, if you compare 3WTC with the height of 2WTC it looks about right.
This is still around 1,100-200ft tall
Yea, but on my render, I made it a 800-900 footer, should I change it?
I would say so yes
FYI,
Those models/instillation was commissioned by the Developers (SHVO & BIZZI).
125 Greenwich Street Developers Celebrate Design in NYC
http://www.design-pavilion.com/design-pavilion.html#pavilions
125 Greenwich Street developers, SHVO, Bizzi & Partners Development and New Valley, are proud to support the design awakening of the New Downtown, NYC and celebrate NYCxDESIGN.
The developers commissioned New York-based collaborative practice Snarkitecture to create an installation depicting the evolving World Trade Center neighborhood with the latest residential condominium addition 125 Greenwich Street, designed by world-renowned architect Rafael Viñoly.
Referencing the familiar concept of a pin screen toy, the installation abstracts the surrounding city fabric as an undulating landscape of white fiberglass rods, while 125 Greenwich Street and the World Trade Center buildings are prominently represented as solid forms, finished in white satin lacquer.
When completed, 125 Greenwich Street will stand as a soaring 88 story tower with panoramic views of lower Manhattan, the rivers and the region. The installation is a sculptural representation of 125 Greenwich’s place within the iconic skyline of the New World Trade Center.
About 125 Greenwich Street
125 Greenwich Street is a striking new luxury condominium development by SHVO, Bizzi & Partners Development and New Valley. When complete, 125 Greenwich will span 88 floors and 460,000 square feet. World-renowned architect, Rafael Viñoly, was hand selected to design the building, and March & White spearheaded the interior design.
Located in the heart of the World Trade Center, the development will be neighbors to a host of luxury retailers including Hermes, Tiffany, Tom Ford and Gucci. The sales office will be open on the 84th floor of One World Trade in Fall 2016. Douglas Elliman are the sales agents for the development.

As of now, they do say ~900+ tall tower.
It’s almost come full circle in terms of height. Before Shvo purchased the site, it was within the 800-900 ft range, afterwards it was proposed at 1,350ft, practically rivaling 1 and 2 WTC, then it seemed to shrink down to about 1,100ft, roughly on par with 3 WTC and now it seems to be back down to its original proposed height. I guess this project won’t be as ambitious as we were to expect from a guy like Shvo.
In that render, it’s clearly taller than 4 WTC, which itself is 977ft, so it’s gotta be at the very least, over 1,000ft if not a bit more.
Really hope it will look great when built
“Give me a supertall or give me death!”
- If Patrick Henry were on YIMBY.
We need the Nuremberg trials for NIMBYS who oppose supertalls. One of the main culprits is Gale Brewer. May we never forget what she did to tower verre.
specifically supertalls in Manhattan… Its like WTF.
Do not mention: “You know who”, “She who must not be named” !!!
asdfghjkl, what that woman did to the city, don’t even want to think about it
Nice!
Seems like the foundation/base work is taking a while.
I hope this shoots up fast once the ground work is finished.
