Revenge of the Sith
Two Prudential Plaza
Superman (2025)
You can see two 30 Park Place’s in this shot, the Woolworth Building, and Four World Trade Center
I was still a kid when these movies released, and back then I was watching the rebuilding. I was absolutely shocked seeing these frames in the movie, but they did a fantastic job. And yes Foster’s 2 WTC is flipped the wrong way
I’m actually working on a video about the modern WTC in popular culture from 2006-2025, which features that exact film. I’m almost finished with it and will post it here once done! ![]()
Hey yall, new video out featuring the new World Trade Center in movies and tv shows! Please go check it out and feel free to like and comment!
Even though the MCU has been on a decline, I actually love how much they’ve shown off the reconstruction of the World Trade Center. Opening night for No Way Home I noticed they lit up the spire of One WTC red and the ESB blue for Spidey during the final fight. Also when Tobey and Andrew talk about the Chrysler Building and Empire State…nerdy chef’s kiss to me
I love nerding out on the wide NYC shots they use in the MCU. It’s been really cool to follow construction in that media.
Spiderman Brand New Day
What is going on here? Central Park Tower looks to be placed where 432 Park should be, and Sutton 58 is not short and near LIC
The more I look the more confused I get. Where is Roosevelt Island? What’s the building on the close right side with the tree-lined roof over 1000 feet in the air? What’s with the knock off Hudson Yards dark glass towers in Turtle Bay?
Clearly this is just a bunch of random stuff composited in to a still backdrop behind ![]()
Yeah this is strange because I don’t think they’ve done that much editing of the skyline in past Marvel movies save where it was completely intentional (inserting the Avengers Tower, a reimagined city in Fantastic Four). Honestly it feels the most messed up in a Spider-Man movie cuz the whole vibe is that the city is a background character in of itself.
Uh, is that also the US Bank Tower in LA next to his left arm??

That is the US Bank Tower LOL. Also the original footage perspective of NYC looks to be shot from the top half of 111 West 57…so 432 Park would be on the right side of that frame by where they threw in what looks like the Chase Tower in Lower Manhattan. There’s so much wrong in this frame too (flipped)
its so strange how much changing they did to the skyline…
Especially after nailing the Manhattan skyline in No Way Home. Look back at the Doctor Strange vs Spiderman fight, Midtown Manhattan is WELL recreated with CGI along with including the recent developments we’ve tracked from 2017-2021. Even during the third act fight One WTC and the Empire State Building are showcasing Spiderman colors
i find it quite unnecessary when theres really only 1 building that actually needs cg, which is the metlife building/old avengers tower
all that extra money into cgi to move buildings around for no real reason
I mean at that point they were in the mirror dimension. If anything that’s jarring in the scene is Doctor Strange’s live action blending with the background, the lighting is awful. But with the buildings and recent developments like I stated, all of the buildings are in the right positions. Even for a quick snippet you see Citicorp
You can see One Vanderbilt and 53W53 in this frame
6:16 I watched this movie opening night and I was absolutely nerding out when Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield mention the sweet views from the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building. Also during the final battle One WTC is lit red and the Empire State Building is lit blue, Spiderman colors
