I forgot how bad this section looked for so long - I did a quick google map Time Machine, and it look this bad for a while:
I guess they don’t like trees or landscaping.
Hehe, apparently. But the lack of them and the stone arch in the back give the plaza a European look and feel. I like it.

People mention him from time to time. He was ready to retire to Florida. He didn’t strike me as the type to stop posting without a goodbye.

That area always seemed off to me. Didn’t realize until now that NYC’s chinatowns don’t have gateway arches.
