Pedestrianize NYC

It appears to shorten pedestrian crossing paths which is sometimes a major reason for doing these redesigns. Drivers can’t be trusted and the less time someone is spending crossing an intersection, the better.

They just redid the northbound 9/103 bus stop and they want to do it over?

I saw some other renderings, but now I can’t seem to find them.

Such projects are by far more important than the tenmillionth new skyscraper.

Agreed!!

Certainly, but NYC has ignored the importance of pedestrian areas for too long, neglecting urban furniture and various amenities. Glad things are finally changing for the better.

Thankfully this bridge now has a dedicated pedestrian path that is separate from this mayhem.

Oh happy day!

Busway construction should be complete by end of year.

Don’t get why the federal government is involved in something like creating a busway. You’d think they have other more pressing issues to deal with.
