NEW YORK | Times Square

I think those are new? Nice find eitherway!

I personally wish the design was less cluttery and that it was more streamlined with led screens, but it is what it is.

Does anyone have a construction update on One Times Square? It has been a while since the last update.

As far as updates go, with everything I’ve seen on IG the past month, a giant construction sidewalk shed has been built around the building and scaffolding now hides all the faces but the LED screen facing Times Square, a construction elevator has also been installed now.

Thanks for the update!

@Nickfloyo Here’s a screen shot from a live TS feed, the construction elevator is on the west side out of view . Can’t find any “recent” photos of construction, but I think the structure of the building has already been exposed at the base.

Update on 3 Times Square from my Sept post, the new LED screen is finished, most of the construction fencing and canopy have been removed but for the bones of it. The interior renovations to the lobby and other parts were already finished earlier this year.

The sidewalk shed at 5 Times Square has also since been removed. Love when the sheds disappear.
