I wouldn’t get ahead of myself, many of them have been built since the 90s. Still pretty modern. The 3 Times Square one doesnt even appear to be very extensive.

I think the Morgan Stanley Building has new crown lighting. Standing out much better on the nightime skyline recently. Or maybe i just never noticed. Semi iconic tower from the gentrification period of times square. I think they used floodlights originally but it looks like it has LED lights now.

You seem quite correct with the assumption that there is new crown lighting. Here’s a shot from the same Earthcam from about 2 weeks ago. No noticeable lighting on the Morgan Stanley Building. It really does stand out now.

Update on the new LED screen and renovations going on at 3 Times Square from a live feed cam. The new address signage was also recently installed in the past few months.
