I remember being in someone’s loft in one of those buildings on 37th street in about 1995. It’s a whole different world now.

From the 1939 World Fair. One word: WOW! The Empire State Building steals the show as the best thing in this image. One thing the modern New York City skyline lacks is a true pinnacle to rival the Empire State Building.
