LIC could take some lessons from Downtown BK. Including planned towers, it has way more interesting buildings going up.

Also, LIC is at a disadvantage already when it comes to building variety, as it used to be a lot of warehouses. There are patches of nice beautiful older architecture, but nothing on the level of Brooklyn.
