NEW YORK l The Paxton l 511 FT | 43 FLOORS

From today. This site had been sitting empty and overgrown for a while ( over a year). There was supposed to be a 19 story office tower with the rendering in the article. The on site rendering looks different ( worse) and much taller. Anyone know anything new about this project?

Both designs suck, ugh. Except for a couple projects Brooklyn gets such crap, that will only look worse over time.

I’m hoping this design is preliminary. Seems like a clone of Eagle Loft in Long Island City, complete with a matching blank wall.

Those are some massive blank concrete walls. Ugh.

Foundation looks mostly complete and could start rising soon. This and 420 Albee will likely rise at the same time. Along with the Macys office redev, these will all add a ton of new office space to downtown.

new rendering. Some new colorful masonry. Probably precast, maybe limestone if we’re lucky.
