Its amazing ! its your olds pictures collection ?
This is a pic from my private collection
One my first orginal Postcard from New York City from 1910. I collect since 2009 old Postcarden, Pictures, Stereocard and Books from New York und other Citys in U.S.A. (Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit,…), and i interested old Skyscraper under contruction .
I have Pics from New York, Chicago from 1850-1990.
I always liked the irony in that they depicted the Commercial Cable Building as being overgrown and huge in the future but it was one of the first buildings to come down for a modern building downtown

These shots are awesome!
It’s pics like these arial shots that make me wish NY could have had 50 more years of 1880-1930 architecture.
There were way to many 1-4 story tenement type houses in midtown (and city wide) that were always gonna be redeveloped.
Most of the nicer buildings in these pics are still around. They are just dwarfed by the ugly post war glass boxes.
These are spectacular. Always hurts to see old Penn. But man love how built up the city was even then.
Whats the name of that book? Looks interesting.
