Not open yet but seemed close when I walked past earlier this week.

No but their website does mention that it is opening in late spring.

I checked it out on opening day. It’s quite nice!
I was impressed with many of the details. The large lawn is at quite an angle, so they put some terrace/steps into it so people have places to site and picnic. There are also large stone arrangements between some of the paths that seem designed for kids and people to climb on. It’s nice to see things like that instead of the too-common safety and liability paranoia. The way the old pilings make a backdrop for the main stage is quite lovely. They also did a great job hiding the stuff that’s underneath the surface, like large-ish restrooms and large backstage area for the amphitheater.

And to think, this almost didn’t happen ostensibly because of “impact on wildlife” during back-and-forth court proceedings on Environmental Review, all funded by crybaby Durst who felt ousted from his socialite circles.
What a shame that would have been.
