From 5.30.20:
The mall was a dumb idea from the beginning, I bet this wouldâve happened eventually, pandemic or not.

Hudson Yards is so amazing, too bad they had to scrap the potential sports field.

You have the best views from Jersey. Thanks for providing us with all these shots!
You need a DSLR!! Thatâs a fantastic shot, I gotta stop by
Letâs face it: Hudson Yards by itself is going to be more impressive than any other American city not named Chicago.
Itâs really incredible the momentum New York has, even with this pandemic, which wonât last forever.
Google, Facebook, Amazon, ByteDance all expanding rapidly in the city recently and in the near future.
And itâs only getting more attractive. Imagine living in Charlotte or Nashville when you can live in NY!
People who are talking about lots of people leaving NY because telework or suburban satellite offices will come into vogue donât realize the level of investment the major employers are continuing to pour into Manhattan.
50 Hudson Yards and the Spiral are going to be packed with tenants.
Google is building massive campuses along the west side, between the pier office opening soon and the St Johns Terminal down the line, they are adding thousands of commuters.
JPMorganâs headquarters plans are huge and most of their traders are already back on Madison Ave as of this week.
Facebook is taking the Farley renovation, which Apple was going for. And Apple is expanding its NY presence, which has historically been minimal, by orders of magnitude.
These companies have shown no wavering in these plans despite the pandemic. Office density may decrease, but the corporate manhattan campuses ainât going nowhere.
