Yesterday from Union City.
What lot is directly north of the spiral? They are busy excavating there as of this week.
Also, approx. 20% activity at 50 HY and 1/3 active at Spiral. Maybe 50 workers, no steel or glazing yet.
no renderings yet, just a massing. aka 451 Tenth Avenue

Last image is interesting. I do believe the Phase 2 towers should all work their way up to 30 HY, I believe Phase 1 should be showcased since it was built first. I’d hate if supertalls block the current Phase
Any news about what there even doing and when for phase II

No updates on the timeline, but Tom posted this shot from the CityRealty IG from the multimedia display inside the Hudson Yards Edge lobby, which shows (in some distorted form) a variety of designs from Robert Stern, Santiago Calatrava, Frank Gehry and others. No idea if any of those are current designs or placeholders based on previous projects, but it does reflect what we know about the master plan: it’s mostly residential, including a school in the base of those RAMSA twin towers, and will have one large office tower opposite 35 HY. Based on those models, at least the Gehry residential and the office tower appear to be supertalls.
the mall is the biggest mistake of the project. They should have gone with one or two floors of retail with porch space above. I can’t think of a mall this big that has lost its anchor so early. I can’t imagine Related/Oxford are going to take it in stride.
