How about they remove “EXCELSIOR” from everything now too.

seems to be gaining traction. Kind of unfair, but hey nobody asked for the rename in the first place. I know a few highway guys and they would be pissed lol, they’re the ones who have to change all the signs. I do like the idea of renaming it after the firefighter who lost his life in that massive assisted living facility fire.

well that’s something else. Fortunately most people in the suburbs can identify a coyote vs a lost dog. Looks like a pretty healthy one. Maybe even a “Coywolf” To our more urbanized friends, if its not obviously a domesticated breed and doesn’t have a collar, don’t approach it or you might get the roadrunner treatment.

Did they ever figure out the structural problems with this thing?

I saw a newspaper with this on the cover at Wawa earlier lol

I hope they change it back to Tappan Zee

Can you please leave the forum with your silly posts, we already have one crazy poster, no need for more.

He should have never been allowed to change the name anyway, just because it’s a “new bridge”. It was still replacing what was already there. He was always an arrogant one, that whole family.

True. It was also a phonetically fun name to pronounce: TAPPaN ZEEee.

Why was mine a silly post?

The potential renaming of the bridge has been mentioned in numerous news sources and is germane to this thread.

It was a deleted comment that he was referencing

yeah, Not you Waymond, your posts are great!

I am familiar, but this is not SSP’s City Discussions forum so there’s no need for you to inject unnecessary politics at all here. It’s wildly off topic.
