I basically agree with the726. A little politics is inevitable on a forum like this but please RW can you try to get rid of caustic comments about others? It doesn’t improve the forum dialog at all.

A bit of a tangent, but we were discussing different types of city planning styles in Urbanism class and I honestly wish NYC had more of a Dynamic, monumental city plan as opposed to the grid.

Is there still a restaurant on top of Eagle Rock? I got turned away for wearing sneakers at lunch. For you hikers out there who want to eat there, keep your oxfords in your trunk.
There is. Its the Highlawn Pavilion. Its a really good place for sea food. Its expensive though. If I ever propose to my gf, I’d want the wedding to be there. But I’m not ready for that yet. I quite enjoy my freedom and am not ready for 25 to life!

Interesting. That’s one way of looking at it. Others, I think, see it as a huge government handout. Corporate welfare as it were. And although that might be a mistaken interpretation of things, opposition on such grounds hardly counts as “Marxist.” Quite the opposite I should think!
