This tower will be Pathmark vanilla. The materials obviously will be very high-end, but what a huge lost opportunity. I really hope that Norm doesn’t screw us with the JPMC tower.

Any idea when this will top out, end of 2020? This looks like it’ll rise at a similar pace to One Vandy.

LOL “Pathmark vanilla” - I don’t even know quite what that means, but I’ve always hated Pathmark supermarkets more than most chains. I think the combination of the name and logo is forever associated with unpleasant memories of my childhood. Fun Fact, Pathmark had a “house brand” called NO FRILLS. But mostly I think of Pathmarks as dirty and the packaged meats would always have a shit ton of blood pooled up in the corners and they would put like 2 bruised pears in a styrofoam tray.

I’m not a real expert but it’s the spiral that will rise like one vandy. The same construction technique of temporary steel core later encased in concrete. 50 HY will rise concrete core first all the way like one manhattan west after the base. Both rose pretty fast but I think Spiral will win this race to top out.

Yes. Pathmark was crap, and Pathmark vanilla was bland per se, like this design. It sucks.
Supposedly, it has been confirmed that JPMC will be another box.
