This one shows the setbacks on the other side. The official renderings show that the terraces are on the same floor based on floor count, but I think the info on the Yimby article possibly came from this forum. It does look to me that the terraces are aligned
That’s still the west facade. I haven’t seen any renderings of the East facade, other than the base which has that notch on the north side.
It says it supposed to be 987ft
The rendering posted by mtoltethys is the East face. Notice 55 Hudson Yards on the left
You are correct, sir!
This is good news.
I think that this tower is going to be beautiful!!
I think you meant The Spiral in the right?
No, I meant to point out 55 HY. You did capture a mistake though, I should’ve said left. But yes, that does look like The Spiral on the right
If that’s the case then they were lazy not showing the set backs on the rendering of mtottethys’ post. I don’t think that that is the Spiral since the set back is not stepped. Looks to me like the rendering was done in haste.
I don’t think they got lazy, notice the terraces are not flush with the edge of the south face, they’re pushed back around 10-15 feet. That’s why they’re hidden in the renderings. Look back at the pictures of my 3d model to see the designs shape
Thanks TK2000
But a recent YIMBY article said it was only 940’.
I see, but it says here that it is 987’. But if its not then its somewhere near supertall height
There are no setbacks on the north and south sides though. Imagine if there were. Now that would be something.
This is still going to be a beautiful tower. I’m very pleased with the design.
Does the DOB permit say 987? If so, that’s the number.
I saw the recent yimby article of it. From there it says 940 but here and skyscrapercity it says 987
We need to look at the DOB filings. Does anyone know this project’s address for filing purposes?
