I tried looking it up on google maps and there’s not much info. It just appears to be an area called “Rhinelander Reef”

It is an under construction garbage transfer station. All of the garbage trucks will dump into barges to be hauled down the river. It is about 3/4 complete I would say from walking by it on a regular basis. The road will connect here from 92nd.
