I hate where they beam up the columns. They should be from the perimeter of the memorial pool/fountains. That’s where the towers actually were.

I was very surprised to learn they didn’t build that into the fountains somehow. It’s not like the technology to put lights near water doesn’t exist. Since it’s not an all year long thing, they could’ve just designed attachments to place them temporarily.

The memorial fountains are actually slightly smaller than the twins actual footprint, so that wouldn’t work

The lights they use for “tribute in light” are WAY smaller than the footprint of the towers.
They could fit inside the fountains, which is why i don’t understand not putting them in there. Pics in the link…
