Lol, NYCityBoy’s comment seems out of place now since the comment it was directed at was deleted, it wasn’t directed towards mcart’s article post.

News Corp. staying put for 20+ years.

Has this one been renovated recently? Or do they plan on staying in an already old building for 20 more years?

Fox renovated many of the floors they occupied just prior to covid.

If that’s so, apparently with the renewal, the article says that they intend to renovate the interiors and plaza out front, in addition to a new tenant lobby on 47th and that that work would start later in the year.

Above is a photo of the executive floor as it was almost 6 years to the day. The renovation was finished in 2018:

Lol, guess they don’t like it anymore, or, are just renovating other parts of the interior.

Most of the offices had not been updated since the 1970s. They went to an open office plan just in time for quarantine. 42-44 are brand new as is the newsroom, but the studios are always getting updated. I bet there is a heavy focus on the outdoor plaza since they do a lot of live shots out there.

They should also add some Teslas to their fleet.

The Bronx finally has a decent skyline!

Tesla’s decline is continuing. City is better off buying Rivian vehicles to try to lure Amazon back.

Rivian just recalled nearly every single vehicle delivered so why would they be a better choice than Tesla?

Tesla is at the forefront of the electrifying cars. With their technology, the cars prove to be one of the most efficient and cost effective evs you could buy. The city would be saving money on charging cost alone.

Yes and they have many more developments that will soon be sprouting up. I’m tired of the Bronx being looked down upon. The entire waterfront needs to be revamped and densified.

That Mott Haven waterfront neighborhood is like a whole different world now. Becoming a mini Williamsburg.
