I was able to catch a little glimpse of the Northern Lights in my neck of the woods north of the city. The night sky glowed a faint red. Go outside and look up, you might just get a surprise.

welp, still no Stanley Cup final in MSG since 2014. The Rangers fell to the Florida Panthers in Game 6 of the Conference Finals.
But the Yankess are 41-19, second best in the entire MLB to the NL Phillies who have played 1 less game (41-18) and are only ahead by percentage. Silver linings.

We need a serious revision of development approval processes in this country. Of course we need to be protecting the environment and gathering public input, but these mechanisms are too often weaponized by people who want to delay/cancel projects for unrelated reasons. I’m convinced this bureaucracy is one of many reasons we’re in a housing crisis.
