NEW YORK | The Brooklyn Tower (9 DeKalb Ave) | 1,073 FT | 74 FLOORS

Loving that photo set above by NewYorkCity76…

The water, the clouds, the people, the Architecture: all equally captivating.

Another ‘people picture’ from the same ferry station location in South Williamsburg.

The mottled cloud formations make for the perfect photo backdrop… :star_struck: Particularly the first photo - those dark clouds are captivating.

The dark dramatic cloud formation in the first photo enhances the now legendary “Tower of Sauron” affect.*

It seems like the bronze end caps have been on since maybe May, otherwise, I’m wondering what’s holding things up here, I’m assuming it’s something to do with the change of hands.

Yes, the caps have been there for a while - they just covered the “seams” with thin bronze trimmings - they are moving very slow, but there is progress

The Brooklyn Tower, standing at 1,066 feet, is Brooklyn’s first supertall skyscraper and a striking addition to New York’s skyline. Designed by SHoP Architects, it features a black and bronze facade with integrated historic elements from the Dime Savings Bank. This tower not only enhances Brooklyn’s architectural landscape but also contributes to the evolving skyline of New York City, adding a third peak visible from Manhattan. Its unique design has sparked comparisons to iconic structures like Gotham City’s architecture and even Sauron’s Dark Fortress from The Lord of the Rings.

Man, this building is perfect for Brooklyn.
