NEW YORK | The Brooklyn Tower (9 DeKalb Ave) | 1,073 FT | 74 FLOORS

Yeah no I was joking about the car door cladding getting stalled. They have been there for as long as I can recall. Sorry, another bad pun.

This is a GREAT shot. I wonder how much longer it’ll take for the right half of the pic to get even 25% as dense as the left half.

that would require infilling the NYCHA lots.

The Brooklyn skyline looks fantastic coming down the FDR Drive by the East Village.

^^ That’s a great angle with perfect lighting. Shows off the colors and the girth.

The top looks good when cropped like this.

And with no construction elevator in the shot lol. I assume that will be gone by Spring

Wonder what JDS’s next home run will be after their 2 iconic towers are completed.

Other than this one, I’d assume the other one you’re referring to is 111 W 57th St, which is already “open”.

But I think once 247 Cherry St starts construction/is approved, it will be JDS and SHoP’s next masterpiece with it’s green striated terra cotta, even with such a simple shape.

Alemel’s photo of the crown on this one looks good from this angle, the other sides make it look flat and the pinnacles not as tall.
