NEW YORK | The Brooklyn Tower (9 DeKalb Ave) | 1,073 FT | 74 FLOORS

It looks like its going to be as thin as Steinway judging from the angle in that last pic.

I agree. I love Juniors’ food, but that building is a POS.

I think the the square footage on each of the upper floors are about 30% more than the square footage on the upper floors of 111 West 57the street. This building seems ‘fatter’ from what I can glean from the photos. Thats only an eyeball estimate; and can be easily verified if any one cares to check the ‘floor plate’ dimensions on the upper floors on each of the two buildings.

I am guessing also that there will be more than one apartment on each floor: unlike 111 West 57th Street that has only one apartment on each floor.

One more interesting comparison between the two: this one is similar in size height - but the construction time to completion will clearly be much faster.

I haven’t seen these either. Subtle influences of Steinway. Looks great. Hoping this one comes out more brooding/gothic/Eye of Sauron looking haha.

It’s good to see a black and gold tower rise. Still have to make up for the demolition of the Richfield tower.
