That EarthCam timelapse is phenomenal!!! So satisfying to have seen this tower rise over the years, made even better with an amazingly-edited video! 
I think those are backups that are only supposed to light if the architectural lighting zaps out. I hope they have some for the spire.

The ESB is lit in state colors in celebration of hitting 70% vaccination. I noticed 1VB is also joining in switching between blue and gold lighting. And a pulsating glowing beacon.
I’ve been going into the office 3 days and then 4 days a week during all this. The city has steadily been waking up. July 4th will be nice to celebrate.
