slightly off-topic but…
There is a building across One Vanderbilt on 42nd street which has always intrigued me. It is sort of heavily buttressed and it makes me thinks of 1920s gangsters. It is very bulky, dark and ominous. Very Batman Gotham City, if you know what I mean. I would like to know more about that building…
It is mid-block but spans to 41st.
