Now that FB has gone with Hudson Yards, Apple has more leverage with Related and Vornado if they are still looking to lease the office space here.

“ Looks like Facebook isn’t quite done with its domination of Midtown real estate: Just a month after announcing that it would lease 1.5 million square feet within the Hudson Yards megaproject, the tech giant is “in talks” to lease about 700,000 square feet within the James A. Farley Post Office complex on 34th Street, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The company’s lease at Hudson Yards, combined with the new one at the Farley complex, would bring Facebook’s NYC footprint to more than 3 million square feet of office space—making them one of the largest corporate tenants in the city; similar to JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America, WSJ says.
