Great architecture with this one
Yes, I agree - this does ‘seem’ to be Great Architecture. I say “seem” because the two most important factors of the Vitruvian Triad - usefulness and solidity - remain unknown at this point.
Great Architecture puts Function before Form: usefulness before beauty. The beauty is apparent here: attractive form, finishes, colors, textures, etc - that much we see.
The usefulness (the program/brief) is a bit more difficult to evaluate; but I do see some indicators of how this new development does put ‘function’ before “form”. For example, the large windows for light/view, the floor plans seem quite efficiently arranged, the interior FF&E (furnishings, Finishes & Equipment) appear to be quite practical and durable in general.
That being said: yes, this one most likely qualifies for the Vitruvain Triad Award - Great Architecture.
BTW. If I had a blog, I would give it the name - ‘The Vitruvian Triad’ guy. ![]()
