Passed by yesterday and, boy, what a disappointment. I don’t recall the stonework having any of the handsome tonal variation featured in the rendering. Perhaps if I had seen a high res version of said rendering, I would have been better prepared for the blandness (to be charitable) that was to come. You’d be forgiven for thinking this was a Kaufman special. Sigh.

This building looks so fake, it’sreally bad. It ended up having virtually no depth like the latest render showed it to have, its like everything was flattened and squashed.

I saw this the other day too. Nothing like the richly textured stone work depicted in the architectural renderings. There is a well known saying: there are LIES, BIG LIES, and then there are Architectural Renderings. Not always true about renderings; but that disparaging saying does apply in this case.
The official name “Le Maison” should be changed to “Le Lame Mason”…
