418 11th Ave already has a thread, unless you were banned from that one too.
No, I’m allowed to post in this one.
This only applies to 655 and 625 Madison Avenue.
exciting bus stop news, folks
I’ve got exciting news.
A Jersey Mike’s subs will be opening on the 4th floor of the Hudson Yards mall, according to the Jersey Mike’s website.
440 9th Avenue

An 18-story office tower near Manhattan’s Hudson Yards sold at a significant discount to its 2018 purchase price, according to a person familiar with the matter.
Property investor David Werner bought 440 Ninth Ave. for slightly more than $100 million in cash — less than half the last price of $269 million, the person said, asking not to be identified discussing private details
I’m assuming that they won’t be hanging the Wells Fargo sign about their private entrance until the interior fitout is closer to being done.
@TKDV why would Wells Fargo be in a hurry to hang up their sign?
Wow. Such nonsense.

Earlier today
This is currently being knocked down to make a room for an access road.
More info here:
I’ve just been waiting and waiting and waiting for that to finally come down so Hudson Blvd E could finally continue and that lot of Bella Abzug park reactivated. Only 2 more blocks north of other properties to come down for the Blvd to be completed.
I miss Bella
Is there word on when the deckovers for Abzug park will be built? And the vent shaft for that matter, as the deckovers can’t be built without it.
I recall the city having a meeting in May regarding the budgeting of Phase II of the park but did not mention an estimated time for its delivery, only that the project got more expensive because a ventilation structure is needing to be built for blocks 5 and 6 (as youve mentioned) instead of the passive ventilation method that was used on block 4 (the last block of the part currently).
But other properties will also need to be torn down to build out blocks 5 and 6 of the park and I’m not sure if eminent domain is being used.
Such beautiful photos all around, @Mackensen
Thank you very much for your compliment.
