Okay, they’ve got ground floor retail. Are we supposed to be impressed?
Good grief. Does every comment someone makes to one of your posts have to be met with a snide response. I wasn’t asking for some argument, just making a comment. Be civil even if it’s difficult.
If you don’t like my response then you don’t have to reply to me. I didn’t know that this was a forum for saints and Mother Theresas.
But you fight with like everyone on this forum it seems like it. It’s exhausting to see your posts. This was a relatively peaceful forum until you came along.
No problem. I won’t post anymore.
Is this phase 2 accurate or could we see this changed?
this used to be on the HY website. Im dying for news on phase 2
This was probably created before they even selected the architects. I don’t think any renderings of the actual designs have been made public yet. It will definitely change.
Plus they received a lot of criticism for the overly surburban nature of phase 1.
I’m sure that will be factored into phase 2.
Expect Phase 2 to be high density, small lot, and very street-level focused.

So apparently this happened…
Watch EarthCam’s 4K time-lapse movie to see construction progress for Hudson Yards in New York City. From December 2012 to March 2019, EarthCam’s cinema-quality gigapixel cameras documented each stage of Hudson Yards, the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States. More than 3 million megapixel photographs and 500,000 hours of imagery were archived, including ultra-widescreen panoramic views of Manhattan cityscape.
does anyone know what this might be? An actual project, or maybe a vision? It looks close to Silverstein’s project, and Cetra Ruddy was listed as architect of record.

That’s pretty nice. Is that Larry’s project, and is it the design that’s rising?
PS: That heinous bus depot must go. Could MSG fit in that space or is it too narrow?
It’s legit IMO. And the architect used a photo I took from Sky of the site for the initial pic. ![]()
