King Kong is a terrible musical. The animatronic was acting better than most performers. and I can say that cos I study musical theatre lol.

I wonder if it was engineered with the spire loads taken into account.
It seems like a great location for a broadcast antenna too: nothing remotely close to its height north, east or west, close enough to Jersey etc. towers over just about everything in midtown too.

It was definitely in that time frame. I watched the whole sunrise last week just staring at the skyline from my hotel. Sunrise that day was 5:45 am
