This tower was worth the wait. It’s an utter icon.

This is one that should have been at least 200ft taller.

This one needs nighttime lighting. It’s gorgeous but looks crap at night.

wasn’t it initially supposed to have the diagonal columns illuminated, but it was nixed?

yes, it was to have lighting but it got value-engineered out or something which is a tragic loss

The dramatic visual affect of that cutting edge ‘artful’ exterior requires some major compromises on the ‘interior’ impact. I have heard from brokers that in some cases; those odd angular obstructions to the windows/views was a “deal breaker”.

When it comes to condos; buyers are more interested in the ‘interior design’ than the Architectural ‘exterior’ design. One must optimize on both aspects wherever possible: but ‘interiors’ matter most.

Tower Verre visible from my camera eariler today

Probably one of the best towers, next to 1 WTC, with how it reflects sunlight, especially from the western profile. Brings the tower to life.

Example in baronson photos on 5.8.23.

Indeed. I wish it was taller though

I wished they had some kind of lighting scheme for this tower, so much potential here. It practically disappears at night.
