So it’s pretty much topped out?

I believe it’s on the 70th floor now

It still has some ways to go, from that image stance, it should top out several feet below the tip of the crane boom.

Once the left most portion stops to start the stepping of the crown then you’ll know that its nearing topout because the crown constitutes about half the height left.

It’s right here

It would be nice to have a flat here at 520 Fifth Ave. that is on the higher floors with a view over 500 Fifth Ave. A wonderful all-round view over the skyscrapers of Midtown Manhattan.

The lighting scheme reminds me of the Spiral in HY but otherwise looks really nice for this tower.

I think this one should have a much better lighting scheme since its more flood lights than the actual step portion being the lit up element. So it should appear more graceful than jagged like the Spiral is.

Hm I don’t like how the corners of the building are a different material

I love the disappearing blank concrete walls.

I forgot to mention that while walking past this today I noticed that the clips/supports for the terracotta on the podium portion are being installed, so the actual terracotta installation should follow soon.

because Google is quite unhelpful on most skyscraper topics: Do any of y’all know how long this skyscraper was in planning before construction started?

Did you not pass through the ground floor lobby on your way up here?
