That’s why I was skeptical about purchasing a ticket so far ahead when they announced the opening date. But my main concern was the weather and the fear of a low ceiling on the day, not a global pandemic.

Some helicopters were swarming 30 Hudson for about 35 minutes straight, I wonder what was going on?

Yeah perhaps. It really would be cool. But if it was a helipad then it would probably be very loud and annoying to the tenants and people down at the plaza.

Helicopters + beams + fireworks. They’re definitely filming some kind of music video or movie. This is definitely no Hudson Yards Edge advertisement.
