Age will give it patina.
I just wonder if black clad windows, or at least dark, would have aided in giving the facade contrast and therefore a bit more warmth.

They aren’t warm. They’re fortresses for the wealthy.
Personally disagree with the above ^ This is much warmer and architecturally intriguing than your standard steel / glass new development. I’m a generally a fan of it - Even though it looks like a discount-store RAMSA
