Back tracking to this post and your last post discussing the balconies, the squared out railings were never the final product, they were temporary, acting in a capacity as a safety barrier. You can see in these photos that they all looked like that before, so it was never a matter of them being a transition between the final rounded ones and then the square ones because they all had the square temporary railings at one point. They just werent done yet.
A render that surfaced in late 2022 also always showed the rounded balconies railings that were put on.
