Does anyone know if there have been any changes to the plans for the building?
The large building immediately next to the construction site on the Rockwell side was recently demolished. It seemed like the demolishing was done by the same crew as the construction crew for 180 Ashland (since almost all work on Ashland stopped during the deconstruction of the other building).
In addition, one of the small buildings at 100 Deklab recently sold 100 Dekalb Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn | StreetEasy and appears to have been emptied out.
With those two adjacent sites, it seems like potentially 180 Ashland could be substantially increased in size. If not, I’m unsure about who would be buying up the small building and demolishing the larger one.
