This is not a proposal, it was done for a sustainable competition as a challenge, a research project case study if you will, the building is not actually being redeveloped into apartments. It shouldn’t have its own thread.

It’s an interesting submission nonetheless, I was actually going to enter into the competition as a lone submitter but got the invite email around the time my software licenses were expiring.

Strikes me as a vertical counterpart to concepts I’ve seen for (horizontally) transforming failed shopping malls back into mixed use neighborhoods.
