The exposed concrete look really doesn’t work here imo. Especially on the northern side of the building (which is essentially blank), it looks so bare.

What could they have done to make it better?

It’s probably a lot-line wall. Should the concrete be painted or covered in panels or an advertisement?

I like it except for the odd appearance of the cantilever and its unbalancing of the overall design. Money speaks louder than design of course.

Might get pelters for this, but I’m generally not a fan of exposed concrete like this. Maybe will look better with plans/trees and granted it’s not a finished product, but can’t help but feel this is a missed opportunity. Shape is nice though

No “pelting” but perhaps a bit of ‘black pilling’. Architectural concrete can have a smooth, beautifully mottled finish when done well - but the Architectural Concrete we see is rarely ‘well done’.
