The architectural diversity and design excellence of those various buildings on the skyline is fantastic: the variety of forms, materials, details is quite interesting to behold. Now, go look at the skyline view from the same vantage point for Hudson Yards: that skyline is a bit more homogenous, lacking in this same type of architectural diversity and general design excellence. Both are nice enough: but this view above is ‘something special’.
