Failure to launch
As luxury market cools, developers hold back units

Is this really bad? They aren’t going to suspend construction I hope!!

I don’t think so. This still has full financing and it’s only the sales that aren’t moving forward just yet. I think they’re waiting until it’s at least half its height to launch. Same with Central Park Tower…

That’s correct CityGuy. This has only 60 units and superior to the competition.

The wait was agonizing hahaha I feel like there’s been a constant drumroll for it to really go vertical for the past 3 months hahah

The first floor is finally rising!

Nice, RW! Cheers

Can’t wait to see its first completed floors and I hope its goes up fast too!

Hahaha. I love this tower but… I wouldn’t be surprised if it took them a month to build ONE floor.

Is that just scaffolding or is this the beginnings of a first floor?

I think they’re beyond the first floor.

Ahh. I cant imagine how thin the core will be here.

might be mistaken but I believe this building will not have a traditional one. I though I read it was going to be supported by the sides.

Well there will be an elevator core in the center of each floor, but the primary support will come from the shear walls on the East and West sides (which is why the windows on those sides are so narrow.) The dark gray in the image below shows the supports.

Thanks guys. That makes more sense in this tight of space.
