That whole list is weak
Wow what a terrible list.
It’s been about 3 months since 111 was shown to be testing its lighting. Any change with it, or is it still the same random bits lit up?
same to none
Love that perspective! I’m pretty sure @Tectonic @5Bfilms and another user captured shots from the same perspective showing the supertall construction. I’d love to get this angle more, I need more shots from Brooklyn and Queens
I’ll get you a good spot from Queens that you’ll love TK2000. I found this great spot last weekend that I can share.
Adding a couple to the New York Skyline Photo Collection now for you @TK2000
Not living in the City, I was wondering if anyone has witnessed any progress in the lighting scheme for the building? I remember a few pictures posted a while back showing sporadic lighting tests, but nothing of late. Does anyone “in-the-know” know when we may be able to witness this building at night in its full splendor?
Can’t understand why lighting is so difficult and takes so long to complete. I mean it’s been years now!!
It’s seems like lighting is not much of a priority for these towers along 57th street. Not much going on with CP tower either and that has been completed for quite some time now.
No progress on the lighting scheme as of Sunday. I was up at the Empire State Building that evening and there’s nothing in regard to nighttime lighting developments. It’s dark up top as you can see in the photo I took.
@tjr101, Central Park Tower’s lighting is fully functional and appears “complete”. It seems dim facing it head-on but as you can see, it looks bright from the side. That might be intentional.
Ok, if that’s the “complete” look then that’s a big letdown and quite disappointing imo. Being the tallest building by roof height in the city it’s barely noticeable at night.
