Look at what’s coming down.
it’s nice, but seeing what has risen in the vicinity in the past decade, what replaces it could be nicer. Especially considering the small number of units proposed.
This will likely be one of the most expensive buildings in the city.
And if it looks as good as the adjacent condo built a few years ago, will be a fantastic addition to the streetscape.
That’s tragic we are losing that pre-war townhouse. So many plain unattractive buildings in this city and yet it’s always the attractive ones that are demo’d.

Old York survived the vikings. New York will survive today’s raiders. Besides, this is a former Naftali exec. hopefully he kept his former employer’s rolodex of architects.
I’m surprised more of this area isn’t landmarked.
