This is a beautiful design. I see this as being ‘modern architectural design’ with a hint of classical styling. It is the ‘sweet spot’ between modernist and traditional architectural design. This is so much better than the “Hysterical Recreations” by RAM and others done in the name of Historical/Classical Design.

There is a way to have originality, modernity and authenticity - it is apparently the middle way. :wink:

I would have preferred keeping the old buildings, but this is very nice.

This vile trash on 79th and Madison should be redeveloped.

While I would have preferred that the original building remain, this is, nonetheless, a gorgeous building.

I think that this filthy garbage nearby on 79th and Lex will be redeveloped too.


The 79th and Lex assemblage is/was owned by HFZ. I wonder if they still own it.
