So did 2 MW get a height cut or did 1 MW get a height increase?

I think they are just funky perspectives? And maybe a slight increase?

I agree.

Oh, no. North Tower is definitely taller than south one.

The north tower is the one that’s currently u/c, right?

Yeah, that’s why the heights seem so confusing. 1MW was always gonna be 995ft I think but originally, I think 2MW was gonna be somewhere around 1,200ft and then they made them both 995ft but now it looks like a complete flip-around.

Windows being delivered for 5 MW. Check out the amazing mirror quality of the glass.

I wonder when 1MW will reach street level. Hopefully by the end of the year.

I assume so.

I’m ambivalent about it, as I am with the Spiral.

I remember about two months ago seeing the windows being dropped off. 5 MW is looking amazing. While its time here might be finite, for now, its re cladding makes it look splendid compared to what it was before.

I agree, Chris. It looks superb!

Law360, New York (February 19, 2016, 5:51 PM ET) – Brookfield Office Properties has completed the acquisition of a “super site” near Manhattan’s Hudson Yards with the $65 million purchase of a property on West 33rd Street, a spokesperson for Brookfield confirmed to Law360 on Friday.
Brookfield purchased the property at 424 West 33rd St. for just over $65 million from Vectra Management Group in November, according to documents filed Thursday with the New York City Department of Finance.

regarding the height situation: CTBUH lists 1 Manhattan West at 67 floors (995’) and 2 Manhattan West at 54 floors (no height listed). 2 Manhattan West may not be a supertall, then. Manhattan West Complex - The Skyscraper Center

Aaaah my suspicion may have been right earlier on when looking at the most recent renderings, ah well
