Looks nice but they got it ass-backwards by building shorter toward Union Station. Right next to a train stop is a perfect place to build dense. Especially since there don’t seem to be many neighbors right next to the train station to NIMBY it.
The issue is that there will actually be greater demand to live further away from Union Station and closer to downtown (i.e., where they plan the high-rises). That’s because Union Station is a relatively isolated transportation hub, one of the few major Metro North stations on the New Haven Line that is not located in a central business district (Westport is another example).
That makes sense, but I still think the station would be convenient for couples where one person works in downtown/Yale and one person in Stamford or somewhere else along the coast of the Sound!
