On a different subject, I’m seeing people post the same photos in different threads, on the same day. (Long Island City). It’s a waste of time to click on something you’ve already seen in a different thread.

It’s done for posterity. There are more people in this world than just you. And there will be more people in this world after you. Not everyone follows the same developments in a given neighborhood or the same threads as buildings are constructed. And because we live in a dense city, it’s inevitable you’ll see multiple developments in the same picture. This type of posting style has been going on for years by various people, so I’m not sure why it’s an issue now.
It takes hours to commute to photo locations, take pictures, edit them, and then post them. All done for free. I’m sorry that your precious time is wasted on a leisure forum. It’s a few extra clicks and seconds of scrolling for something that takes a decent amount of effort to contribute and produce.
That being said, I want to be helpful so please consider clicking on my profile and selecting “Ignored” so no more of your time is wasted.

I totally disagree. Giving 007 another pass for his ongoing display of blatant disrespect and rudeness is like dealing with a repeat offender who knows they’ll be released for their actions and take advantage of a weak system of moderation. There’ll be no ‘self-correction in the long run’ as long as 007 continues to exploit the lack of consequences. Not even a 6-month lockdown is enough to deter him and change his attitude.

It was not Mackensen’s decision to suspend you. It was the whole moderation team that decided that you should be suspended.
Please, I’d advise everyone not to continue with more vitriolic posts on this topic or it could result in more moderation actions and the mods really don’t want to be the bad guys.

Hate comments
Since one user has been getting a lot of hate
comments lately I take this as an opportunity to write a mod post.
Anyone who reads hateful comments in the future should immediately mark them with a flag and not reply to them. A moderator should then act accordingly, because hard cases should also be dealt with immediately.
If a user has a problem with another user, please discuss this between the two of you (via DM).
