The buildings being demolished are located at 100 NE 11 Street and 122 NE 11 Street, and were built in 1920 and 1959. They are 9,863 square feet and 11,940 square feet.

Both buildings sit on a part of Miami Worldcenter’s Block A, where 1,600 condo or rental apartments are planned. There will also be 40,000 square feet of retail, 15,000 square feet of fast food restaurant, and 15,000 square feet of full service restaurant on the block.

I love Miami with a passion, but the overwhelming majority of its new towers suck. They really missed the boat.

this is lowkey the most significant mega project outside of Hudson Yards in the USA. Hope its a success. At the very least it’ll be a significant skyline booster for downtown Miami.
