Mcarts notes of developments and etc

There are also canceled projects on sites that are still viable like 140 East 60th, and other sites with potential like 1 Park Lane and Park Central Hotel that could be added.

If you know more about these projects in these cities you can help this list. The only one I’m sure of is NYC.
I was going to include the other NA countries, but none of them have a supertall.

There’s one more supertall that should technically be on that list; 4 Times Square

Thanks

No problem. And also, I thought the Brooklyn Tower would be a little higher up since it was supposed to be 1,073 or 1,099 ft, unless it’s for the height above sea level

The only reason they look like they’re ranked by height is that that’s the order they were in the list I ran off. I did not specifically place them in order by height

Ah, I see. But regardless it’s crazy how the ESB is not even in 10th place anymore :flushed:

Not even in 10th place?
Are you including proposals? Because I’m pretty sure it’s in 8th rn

Yeah I’m including them. If all of them (well most of them) are built then the ESB’s rank will be much lower

Yup it’s an #14 about to be kicked out of the top 15

Let’s assume that every skyscraper from your list is built, then NYC would definitely be a coruscant city, and the ESB, and even 175 Park and One WTC would look like midgets.

You are our skyscraper enthusiast and if you want the new mod. :+1:

I believe almost everyone here including me are skyscraper enthusiasts lol

Staten Island
Or Long Island etc.

Amusement Park/ Entertainment Park center.

We could get them all in here
Our own Disney World
Legoland
Universal
Six Flags
Seaworld
Busch Gardens

Put them all right next to each other in the same area, have it serviced by it’s own subway line (this big a project would force the state to build one or the companies lobbying would, either or).

Boom instant cash. It would also have the huge benefit of forcing large scale developments near these.

Who knows maybe Staten would start looking a lot more like the rest of NYC

Yes. I would omit Legoland as we already have one in Yonkers and American Dream, as well as Six Flags as we have one a stones throw away in NJ.

But Staten Island needs desperately something to attract tourism, unlike the bland outlet mall they plopped up by the ferry.

ā€œDisney World NYC - Staten Islandā€ NYC would be complete lol

Yeah. Kinda responding to YIMhudson here as well but Coney Island and Playland are great, but they are only that. They’re a good entertainment option but nobody flies into NYC to go to Coney Island or Playland. People all over the world fly to Orlando to go to Disney World or Universal etc.

That’s the difference we’re talking here. It would be a massive revitalization for Staten Island. But not only that, once those people have their fun at the amusements parks they’re going to go to all the other sites in NYC, boosting tourism, hotels, restaurants etc even more.

Yes. Think of it this way. There have been no hotels that built up around the Coney Island amusement district. No sponsored hotels like ā€œMarriott - Coney Islandā€ or ā€œHilton - Coney Islandā€. We need a amusement development that would attract big branded hotels that would surround these amusement parks.

Unless you wanna go here as an international tourist to Coney Island, bleh

Yes, and this whole idea could work with my Red Light District idea. Obviously they can’t be near each other because Disney would throw a fit, but once the parents are done taking their kid (or themselves) to the big amusement parks they could go for a night out of whatever they want, gambling, drinking etc.
